What Happens After You Complete the Course?

Upon completing the ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS Lead Auditor Online Course, your tutor will submit your continuous assessment results, confirming your active participation and successful completion of all required individual and group activities.

Following this, we will register your details on the CQI IRCA Authorized Training Partner Portal. You’ll then receive access to two essential platforms:

1. 1. Demo Exam Portal Access

You’ll first gain access to a demo version of the exam portal, which allows you to:

• • Verify your system’s technical readiness (compatibility, navigation, etc.)
  • Take a practice test that simulates the actual exam environment

1. 2. Final Exam Portal Access

After becoming familiar with the demo platform, you’ll receive access to the official CQI IRCA Final Exam Portal. You can take the exam at your convenience once you feel fully prepared.

💡 Important Note:

The course fee includes one official exam attempt — there are no additional charges for this. However, if you need to retake the exam, a separate fee will apply, as it is conducted through an independent testing system approved by CQI IRCA.

CQI IRCA Exam Procedure

After completing the ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS Lead Auditor Online Course, you will have 30 days from the final day of training to take the official CQI IRCA exam via the online testing platform.

Before attempting the actual exam, we strongly recommend the following steps to ensure you’re well-prepared:

What If You Miss or Fail the Exam?

❌ 1. You Did Not Take the Exam Within 30 Days

• • If you don’t complete the exam within 30 days, your first attempt will be marked as “DNS” (Did Not Submit).
  • No extensions are allowed by CQI IRCA.
  • You are still eligible for a second attempt within 1 year of your course completion.
  • To reschedule the exam, simply contact 3FOLD and pay a resit fee of only USD 30.

✅ Important: 3FOLD charges no additional fees beyond the official CQI IRCA resit cost — a benefit rarely offered by other training providers.

❌ 2. You Took the Exam but Did Not Pass

• • You’ll receive a section-wise performance report, covering the five key exam areas.
  • This will help you identify areas where improvement is needed.
  • You may retake the exam by paying the USD 30 resit fee.
  • You are also welcome to rejoin the full training at no extra cost within 1 year of your course completion.

What If You Fail the Second Attempt?

• • If you do not pass the second attempt, CQI IRCA requires you to attend the entire course again.
  • For the third attempt, you will pay a combined Levy + Exam fee of USD 75, which includes:
    • Levy Fee (for re-attending the course)
    • Exam Fee (charged each time you retake the exam after your first attempt)
  • If needed, you can make further exam attempts by paying the USD 30 resit fee each time.
  • You may continue to attend the training for free within one year of your initial course.

CQI IRCA Exam Attempts and Fee Structure

Exam Content Structure

The CQI IRCA Lead Auditor Exam evaluates your theoretical knowledge and practical auditing skills across five core domains. Each domain is aligned with the course learning outcomes and features a defined number of questions, designated marks, and a minimum passing score requirement.

To successfully pass the CQI IRCA Lead Auditor Exam, you must achieve:

• • A minimum overall score of 40 out of 80 marks (50%), and
  • The minimum required pass mark in each of the five domains individually.

🕒 Exam Duration:

• • Native English speakers are given 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the exam.
  • Non-native English speakers are granted 2 hours and 15 minutes to ensure adequate time for comprehension.

✅ At 3FOLD, we automatically apply for the extended exam duration on behalf of all non-native English-speaking candidates to ensure a fair and stress-free assessment experience.

Each domain includes a combination of:

As per the CQI IRCA Quality Handbook, the following are not allowed during the exam:

• • Internet access (e.g., search engines, online documents or tools)
  • Electronic devices: mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, etc.
  • Unauthorized materials:
    • Additional books or handouts
    • Calculators (unless pre-approved)
    • Blank papers or notepads
    • Dictionaries or language aids

⚠️ Possession of any unauthorized item — even if not used — may be considered malpractice and could lead to disqualification.

  • Official results are released within 10 working days.
  • As soon as the result is available, 3FOLD will notify you immediately.

📜 Certification Process

• • If you pass the exam, you’ll receive a CQI IRCA Certificate of Achievement within 3 working days, issued digitally via Accredible.

• • If you do not pass and choose not to retake the exam, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance, confirming your participation.
