Why it changed
LEED v5 pushes beyond checklist compliance toward measurable outcomes — decarbonization, electrification, climate resilience and quality of life are now explicit themes across multiple domains, not siloed in one section. Expect questions that connect a design decision (e.g. an HVAC choice) to its carbon and performance impact, not just its point value.
