LEED Online Training Student’s Journey

What is it like to attend the LEED AP and GA online training with us? What will your journey and the benefits you stand to gain look like?

At 3FOLD TRAINING, we offer LEED GA and AP BD+C combo Exam Preparation training. Some of its benefits are that you can decide to enroll in the month most convenient for you, attend it online as a virtual interactive session using the ZOOM Platform, and enjoy diversity as we have students attend our training from various countries around the world. You can also take the credentials separately through LEED Green Associate training or LEED AP BD+C training, and a self-paced option is available if the live sessions do not suit you. Current dates and timings are always on the course pages.

Before the Training

As soon as you enroll in our LEED GA and AP online training, you will receive the following:

1. One Year Access to our Learning Management System Zoom Registration Link for the entire Live LEED GA and AP Online Training
2. Study Materials (it consists of delegate manuals for both GA and AP), written to the LEED v5 rating system

Our Learning Management System consists of separate folders for LEED GA and LEED AP with a lot of information. A piece of detailed information on the LMS access is mentioned below:

Note: This access is valid for one year from the time of registration.

1. Video Lesson (Recorded Session)

It is a recording of the live virtual interactive sessions. We have two sets of recordings from different trainers.

2. Practice Quiz

These are the Module wise multiple-choice questions. You will have unlimited attempts in each section for one year.

3. Exam Simulation

You will have access to a full-length mock for LEED GA and LEED AP. Both mocks mirror the live exam format and scoring, so you know where you stand before you register.

4. Course Materials

We provide Delegate Manual in PDF format for both courses. You can download the material.

During the Training

You are expected to observe the following good practices during the training:

1.Join the Session on time

2.When not speaking, mute the microphone

3.It is advisable to open the web camera. However, it is not a mandatory requirement. If you have opened a web camera, ensure you are wearing professional attire, also ensure minimal disturbance such as avoiding excessive movements, eating or drinking, background movements from external parties, etc.

4.Participate in the class. While our training includes several engagement activities such as polls, quizzes, matching, etc., it is also essential to discuss with the trainer verbally and ask any questions during the training. This will encourage the trainer and also other participants to keep the class engaging.

5.Depending on the class timing and duration, there will be frequent breaks. Please ensure to join the class on time after the break.

After the Training

As our LEED GA and AP Online Training student, you can expect the following services after the training:

1.We will send the Certificate of Attendance within two days after the completion of the course.

2.Our dedicated Product Manager will guide you through the LEED Exam Application Process, including Exam Scheduling.

What the exam application involves

Training is not a prerequisite for the LEED exams — GBCI lets anyone register — but the application has a few steps that catch candidates out, and this is where your product manager helps:

1.Register and pay on your USGBC account. Fees are set by USGBC and are subject to change, so check the current amount on the USGBC website before you register.

2.You receive an eligibility ID by email. That ID has a validity window, stated in your confirmation, within which you must sit the exam.

3.Schedule at prometric.com/gbci, choosing either a Prometric test centre or a remotely proctored sitting through the ProProctor application.

4.Sit the exam. Allow a little longer than the testing time itself for the tutorial and the end-of-exam survey.

After you pass: keeping your credential active

A LEED credential runs on a two-year cycle. LEED Green Associates report 15 continuing education hours per cycle, of which three must be LEED-specific. LEED APs report 30 hours, of which six must be LEED-specific in their specialty. Renewal fees apply and are published by USGBC. Let your product manager know when your cycle is due — several of our courses count towards LEED-specific hours.
